The girls’ team had its parent meeting on July 1st. Here’s a brief rundown of the conversation:
- Recertification on July 28th. First practice on August 20th
- Homecoming parade on September 18th. Probably two floats this year with enough room for all the girls
- Senior night on 10/19. We have a volunteer to coordinate activities but will be looking for contributions from all the parents of juniors.
- Spencerport Invite is 10/16. This meet will not conflict with the PSAT exams. Coach is looking for volunteers to help run this meet.
- The team is looking for ideas/volunteers for team activities like pasta dinners, slumber parties, etc…
- Applebees fundraiser is on August 7th
- Car Wash is August 14th
- Apparel will be done through Sports 2 the Max. Coach Nellist will prepare an apparel order at the start of season.
- We have a volunteer for meet programs.
- We have a volunteer for the team video.
